  2. Cathair Bán
    There is a fort at Deelis called Cathair Bán, and there was a pot on top of a ditch near it. It was span new. A man named Thomas Quinlan took the pot for boiling porridge for calves. All the calves died, and he put it back again. There was a man named Mr. Edward [?] living at Glenfield at this time. He heard of it, and one night himself and Michael Griffin and
