    This is how a match was made long ago. The fathers of the parties that were going to get married go to each others houses and tell how many cattle, pigs, sheep foul ect. they have. Then the man would chase a flock of animals to the house of the boy that would be getting married to his daughter. Sometimes the cattle wouldn't be their own at all. They would belong to some other farmer. Sometimes the marriages would be in the house of the girl that was to get married. It is on horse back they would go to the church or house.
