    A GOOD WRESTLER
Jack Coffee lived in Baile an Chnocáin in a field called Garraidhe Chathail. He was supposed to be a great wrestler. When the canal from Blennerville to the Basin at Tralee was being made, (* Tá deich míle galldha ó Gharruidhe Chathail go Tráighlí) Jack Coffee and other men were walking to their work for sixpence a day. They were working one day, when a brother of Doctor Crump's came and challenged any man of two hundred men to wrestle for a pound. The men told Jack to take him up and Jack said where would himself get a pound. The men made a collection and gave him the pound. He went at Crump, and knocked him three times. He took what men were at the work into a public house and spent the two pounds on them.
