  2. There was a Barton girl living in Boolteens and she was going to be married to a man and his name was John Payne and he was living in Sanakeale.
    John Payne and his aunt were living in a small cabin and they were very poor until they got a legacy from America.
    A few days before the marriage her parents went to Tralee for the wedding outfit.
    The night before the wedding a party of men came from the east and they carried girl away
