(continued from previous page)the great St Patrick did in days of yore.
And do penance for our transgressions and promise them not to sin no more. Our holy Fathers may the Lord protect them they are the friends of old Eireann shore.
And in return to those pious lectures their advice we will follow for ever more. Long lived the Bishop that worthy pillar and our parish priest of great renown.
Great praise is due to him throughout his Diocese and all bad vices for to put down. And Father Sheahan I have to mention who spared no labour and yet no time.
But constant teaching and daily preaching the holy pastor and pure divine.
