    and in the course of the conversation Mr. Teahon spoke about the accident and Stack said that it would be great sport if the body could be got away from the police.
    The police had hardly started for home when Mrs ONeill N.J. Annascaul, her brother who is a district justice now and others noticed the body as they were walking far down the strand being just swept into the beech by a wave. They gave the word. The coffin was ready at Justin M. Carthy's, the corpse was put into it and brought to Inch chapel where a [?] Sheahan an Australian priest said "prayers for the dead." The coffin was put on a side car belonging to OConnor and drove off as fast as a horse could travel. They intended holding a wake in the Seminary on that night. The rest of the party went on ahead. Mr. Teahon and Mr. OSullivan followed the corpse, Mr. Teahon was hiding his own bicycle and leading another so that he was not able to keep the pace with him.
    Somebody sent word to the police that the body was found and taken away and the sergeant and a constable cycled after it and passed Mr. Teahon at Gortaleen about six miles to the east of the Inch and three to the west of Boolteen where there was a police barrack.
