    A bird hatches for three weeks.
    The weather is judged by some birds for instance when the curlew flies inland it is a sign of rain.
    Some of the birds are connected with Our Saviour, is the Robin. When Our Saviour was hanging on the cross, the robin came and tried to pick the rails out of his hands and feet and while he was picking at them the blood of Our Saviour came on his breast, and that is why the robin has a red breast.
