    When a person removes a splinters from his hand to should chew the splinter so that one will never go into his hand again.
    To cure a child with whooping cough it should be carries three times under a donkey that has a foal. The cough will be banished after a short while.
    There is a cure for erysipulas too, made up by three women whose fathers were dead before the children were born. The cure consists of butter and certain herbs, and it must be applied to the affected part after sunrise and before sunset.
