- The custom of hunting the wren o Saint Stephen's Day had almost died out but now it is being revived. It is a custom on that day for the young men to go from house in disguise playing music and getting money from the people of the house. In the evening they divide the money equally among one and another.Saint Patrick's Day.
It was an old custom on Saint Patrick's Day for girls to wear green crosses on their shoulders made out of cloth.Ash Wednesday.
