    on cattle when they are sold. Luck money is also paid when cattle are sold but it gets no other name. The parties concerned in a bargain show their agreement by sticking hands. Animals are sometimes marked with mud and at other times by clipping the hair. The halter is usually given away when an animal is sold. Special fairs are usually held for the sale of horses, sheep, and bonhams.
