  1. There were very shops in the country long ago. Some people sold butter and eggs and in that way they bought their goods. They some times bought their goods on tick and then paid all at the same time as some people do nowadays.
    There were farthings and crowns and sovereigns in the country long ago but now there are only a few, if anyone sold a sovereign they would get thirty seven shillings for it.
