    but a rainbow in the evening is a good sign.
    When the Swallow flies near the earth it is a sign of rain. When the Seagull comes inland from the sea it is a sign of storm.
    Rain is expected also when the cat sits with its back to the fire or when the dog eats grass.
    It is a good sign when the smoke goes up straight into the sky from the chimney.
