  1. Katie Allen was a traveller, and she lived in a cove in Drungan. She spent the days travelling about the district and begging.
    She bought articles in the town and sold them to the people to make a little money.
    There was a traveller named Patrick Devaney and he came in the summer time to cut meadow with a scythe. Where ever he worked during the day he slept there at night. When the summer was gone he left the district. Sometimes when he could not get any work he asked for alms. The people gave him whatever he wanted because he was welcome.
