    This monument was erected by Morgan Mc.Donagh of Sligo merchant to the memory of his most beloved son Jas. Mc.Donagh who departed this life 31st. December 1822 aged 19 years and likewise devoted to the memory of his beloved wife.
    Catherine Tonry. also Mc.Donagh aged 56 years. died 25th September 1825 May the almighty God be merciful to Morgan Mc,Donagh who departed this life 14th June 1832 aged 66 years
    This parish has been united to Emlaghfad for more than 150 years.
