Have you heard of the pauper's ball

Have you heard of the pauper's ball
That was held in Caurn''s school
    The committee that gathered there
Like wise Jim Hunt the fool.
There were wevers & brogue makers
Im sure ye know them well.
And bawled head Benson from Mounter [?]
    Who acted quite the swell
    Sonny ODonnell he was there
With a smig on him like a goat
Saying if you dont treat me well
    I know what Ill report
    There was butter milk supporters
    Summon servers for the crowd
    Who assembled there that evening
    From the country all around.
