   The beggars:- Those people only ask for flour and food and sometimes they ask for bottles which they sell.They sleep unknown to the owners in hay-sheds and i outhouses.

   Many travelling folk pass the road by my house and most of them call for some reason or another. Some come in for fod or money to help them on their journey. Others come selling small articles such as combs, fancy pins, hair clips, etc. Gipsies pass occasionally. The women look very picturesque as their clothes are of various bright colours. Round their heads they wear bright tinted scarves and they are adorned with much jewellery such as ear-rings necklaces
