    places where Mass used be said. There is a Mass rock to be seen in Tonevane Mountain yet. It is called 'Carraig an domhnaigh".

    Above on the top of Tonevane mountain there was a small house built where a priest hid himself. The ruins of it are to be seen yet.
    The people had certain hiding places for the priests.
    There was a monk in our district who was hunted by the soldiers. One day a soldier espied him and cut his head off.
