    was the devil because he had cloven feet. The devil said that he would meet him at the end of twelve months. The devil said to the man to go back to the card school and he would win all his money the man did so and he won his money.
    He used to win every night and his fellow players got suspicious of him. They refused to play with him any more. The end of the year was drawing nigh and the man was getting afraid. He went to the priest and he told him his story. The priest said he would go to the place with him that night.
