farm and the giant was driving the cows away and Jack said "Stop, until we see which of us is the best man, first". The giant and Jack started fighting and the fight continued all day until evening. Then Jack drew his sword and cut off the giant's head. Jack went up to the giant's castle and found a lot of gold and himself and his mother lived in the castle for the rest of their lives.
