  1. Really not worth recording.

    Mara has féith na filíochta, and if paid a little may do something worth while;
    Even 2/1 per ballad would suffice.
    He has a very poetical appearance - middle height light and thin with an uncommon, long neck.
    His occupation. He is a labourer, but strictly speaking he lives on his wits.
    His children are musical with very sweet voices, but as yet they have made no attempt "to say it in song".
    Caitín Cronin his wife is also a very romantic character, and perhaps it is she gave her children the gift of song.
