  1. There is a fort in the farm of Timothy Cotter of Knockbrack, Co Kerry.
    There are three trenches (rings) about it and trenches in between.
    It is believed that fairies lived in it and nobody would interfere with it for fear of being harmed in some way.
    Long ago it was said that a woman could be seen every evening drawing water from the fort and that you could a cup rattling in the gallon.
    Many lights were supposed to have been seen there by night.
    A Story concerning the Fort
    There is a little story told about this fort in the farm of Timothy Cotter, Knockbrack, Knocknagoshel.
