    a woman named Peggy Keffee who was a great walker. She walked to Tralee in the morning and on her way home in the evening she knitted a pair of stockings. She also walked to Cork in a day.
    Another great walker was Julia Brian of Lacka. She started from home at four oclock in the morning, and walked to Kanturk, and was back again for breakfast.
