    the highest townland in the Rathmore Parish there is a fort in which there are four or five large pillar stones standing in the centre of the field. It is supposed that they were cast there from the top of the two Paps by the famous giant Fionn mac Cumhail. He also cast two more further north to the top of Tureenamult close to the boundry between it and Leamiglissane.
    There are also three smaller pillar stones standing in a field in Scrahanagullane. They say it was a son of Fionn's that cast those stones from the hills because they are lighter than those in Gullane
