the people here go to pay rounds sometimes. They go to Cullen on the Sunday nearest the 25th July to pay rounds there on that day in honour of St. Lathern. They go to Ballyvourney on Whit Sunday to pay rounds also. They say this place is a much better place to go if you are sick than either the "City" or "Cullen" which are better for cattle.
