    They do not stock cloth and it is not spun or woven locally. The chief kinds of cloth worn are serge, flannel, frieze, velvet, tweed and nap cloth.
    Shirts are made in many homes here from flannel and flannelette. Socks and stockings are also knitted here but the thread is not spun in the homes. There is no spinning wheel in the district but the old women
