    They weave twigs round a stronger twig and tie them together with cords to form a little basket.
    They then place them down on the grass and leave a cipín under one side of it to raise it up a bit. Under it they put bread crumbs and when the bird hops down he goes in underneath for the bread crumbs, and in doing so the cipin falls and down goes the cage and the little bird finds himself a prisoner underneath the cage.
