    The work of masonry was not carried on by local people long ago, but in this locality now, it is carried on by the Sullivans Ballaugh, and by a Cronin man in Minish. Long ago the work of carpentry was carried on by John Courtney who was my uncle. The work now is done by Cronins and Kelly in this locality. There is another family of the same name and they are all engaged in masonry - the father and five sons. Of the Kellys the carpenters there are the father and three sons.
