  2. When a cow is standing behind the gate it is a sign of rain.
    When a cat is eating grass it is a sign of rain.
    If a dog lies on top of a ditch early in the morning it is a sign of good weather. When the sky is red down in the west it is a sign of good weather. If a cow is on the top of a hill it is the sign of rain. When there is going to be a good summer, the crows build their nests high up in the trees.
