Stockings and socks are generally home knitted by the old women. There are no spinning wheels in the parish presently. Different types of clothes are of often worn at different times. At feasts and weddings very modern types are to be seen but at deaths clothes of mourning colours are worn. Black is the principle colour worn. Sometimes the relatives wear a band on their arms as a sign of mourning.- Collector
