    I heard Grannie telling a story about a woman who lived in Tullycorbet named Mrs Hughes.

    She was supposed to have sold herself to the devil and as a result she could perform all sorts of witch-craft and make plenty of money out of it but Grannie says she heard her Mother say she died a terrible death. The house was left empty afterwards and was supposed to be haunted by all sorts of curious looking people.
