  1. There are four forts in this district. One of them is in the townland of Lisdoney and is situated on the top of a hill owned by James Mc Eneaney. There is an earthen ditch round it and bushes growing on it. It is round in shape but no stories are told about it.
    There is another fort in the townland of Formal. It is situated on the top of a hill owned by Micheal Mc Guinness. It is round in shape. There is an earthen ditch round it and trees growing on it. There are no stories told about it. There is another fort in the townland of Oram. It is situated on the top of a hill owned by John Welsh. It is round in shape and there is an earthen ditch round it. There are bushes in the centre of it. There are no stories told about it. These forts are all in view of each other
