When the butter is made they take it out of the churn and put it into water. They let it stay in the water for about then minutes. They they take it out and put it on the lid of the churn and put salt in it and make it up in [?] - We have a churn at home. It is made out of wood. We used to churn every week. We churned by hand. The way the dash went was up and down. We would churn until the butter would come on the milk.(continues on next page)
