    called Bradshaw, They rest are all of different names. The houses are all slated except two which are thatched. The land is all fairly dry and hilly with a lot of stones and stone quarries in the neighbourhood.
    There is some bog in Loist/? but very little turf is made owning to flooding from the drains which are much in need of cleaning.
    There is a lot of ruins of old houses belonging to people who emigrated to America but a lot of young men went recently to England and Scotland and are employed on road works.
