  1. Hidden Treasure
In a farm, convenient to my home there is supposed to have been hidden treasure.
It is supposed to have been placed there by fairies hundreds of years ago.
Old folk will maintain to this present day that it is there, but few will volunteer to search for it as the fairies are supposed to be vicious people if interfered with. Some folk say it is gold, while others say it is silver. This young man and his mother still live in Knocknalun, although they pretend to be poor they have a crock of gold in their house still.
On one occasion, a young girl, a friend of the woman's, visited her and in the course of their conversation the chat turned to the sort of times and scarcity of money. The old woman took her to her bedroom and from underneath her bed she took a crock of pure gold.
