Graffa, Parish of Tydavnet, surrounded by deep bank. Gap in bank, like an entrance, no trees, two lone bushes on the bank. Its diameter is about twenty four feet. A tunnel is supposed to be underneath it. Supposed to be a Danish fort.
From observation. Collected by
Wallace Graham, Age 12, Graffa, Smithboro. - Killadonelly, Parish of Tydavnet. Circular fort about one hundred feet in diameter. Surrounded by a bank on which grow whitethorn trees. A gap in the bank for an entrance. Nobody ever cut a tree in it for fear of evil befalling him. Supposed to be a fort of the Danes.
