The Waterloo sportsmen and more did appear,
For to gain a great prize and to bear it awa,
The champion of England against Master Mac Grah.
On the twelfth of December the day of renown,
Mac Gragh and his keeper they left Lurgan town,
A gale on the channel it soon blew them over,
On the thirteenth they landed on fair England's shore.
And when they arrived in big London town,
The great English sportsmen they all gathered round,
And one of these gentlemen gave a he ha,
Saying is that the great dog you call Master Mac Grah.
