  1. There is a road running from the cross of Clontubrid to Clone Cross. The name of this road is, "The Dead Man's Road. The road got its name in this way. Once a man who had some money on him was going down this road. He met another man who took him under a bridge and killed him and took all his money. That is how the road got its name, "The Dead Man's Raod. There is also another road running from Clontubrid to Balleen Cross. The name of this road is the Crush. There was a church there one time near the top of the Crush.
