    over the surface of the ground. Then they are hoed and then grubbed. Then they are moulded by putting clay up to them. After about three weeks they are sprayed with blue-stone to prevent them by being burned by the blight.
    In my district the potatoes are ploughed out and sometimes a machine is used for getting them out called the potato digger. The school-boys pick the potatoes for the farmers in this district.
    When the potatoes are picked the ones which are going to be eaten are put in a pit and the ones which are being kept for seed for the following years are put in boxes.
