  2. Children before they go to school are taught little prayers or aspirations at nightime by their parents. I was taught very nice ones by my mother such as.
    "Oh Jesus dear do make me good
    And let me do all the nice things I should
    Make my soul a shinning bright
    And let my guardian angel take care of me at night
    To you dear Jesus I give my little heart
    Please keep it frequent meek and mild
    Bless mammy Daddy and all those people
    I love and my brothers and sisters now as well. Amen.
