    at a place known as Blarris Moor in Co. Antrim. I wonder if the men in charge of that station will ever give a programme on the men of Liskenna who were executed near that very spot where the Broadcasting station now stands.
    Owen and William McKenna were their names; they were executived on the 14th of May 1797 for not informing on their comrades. In the Monaghan militia they were charged with sedition and joining in mutiny. Their last words were spoken as the yoemen were about to level their guns at their breasts.
    i.e.
    "We own we are united,
    Of death we are not affrighted
    And hope to be requited,
    By Him who rules on high."

    McKenna's farewell to his love.

    Out from Liskenna's lordly mansion, young McKenna rode at noon,
    The sun shone brightly, not a cloud crossed the azure sky of June;
    One thought of nature's verdant charms ne'er crossed his youthful mind,
    As he rode o'er hills and valleys fair, and left
