    For home they then started,

    They placed this bold hers, quite safe in a car-house,
    And drank to the health of the Buck from Bonane.

    And when they came out after drinking some porter,
    In Cronin's hotel in lonely Gougane,
    Then they went to the car-house,
    To take out this wild ranger,
    No doubt he was then half-ways to Bonane.
