“There is a kind of quarry near our school called Poul a Phúca and the old people said that a fairy woman was seen here in the bad times.”
There is a kind of quarry near our school called Poul a Phúca and the old people said that a fairy woman was seen here in the bad times. She was known as the Grompus and and on moonlight nights only she was seen. and the Murdering Glen" has the name of the fairies too and no wonder because the quarry here fell on three men in the bad times and killed them. It was said that one only was seen with a light in his hands as if he were searching and searching for something or other. To day nobody sees him here.- Collector
