    into smaller farms. The Sheehans who were at that time the landlord's agents got the best and largest portion of the land. Before the Sheehans got the land it was owned by James Hamilton's great grandfather of the present Hamiltons in Moulagullane.
    The farm which my father now owns was owned by a Moriarty man. He lived in a hut in one of our fields and which we afterwards made into a cowhouse.
    There are two caves in the village. One in a field called Páirc an Gamhain and a hawthorn tree marks where it is situated in the bounds between Gerah and Moulagullane. These
