    It is said that there was a man crossing a rath in Mr Ward's field and the fairies stood beside him and asked him to get a ring that was lost there 1, 254 years ago. The man was not able to get it and he was changed into a tree.

The fairy said they are sold and the man went home and his wife asked him where was the money and the man said "I have no money a fairy took the pigs.
