There would be three taxes, the people would pay the first and second but they would not be able to pay the third. There would be three elections in the same year, and a Spaniard would rule Ireland. Cars would run on the road without horses. The milk of the country would be churned in the one churn. There would be a slated house on every hill and a bridge on every stream. The babies in the cradles would be wearing shoes. There would be a hat on every ceólán and the girls of Ireland would lose their shame. There would be a premium for old age, and men would deny their own cattle at their door. A stocking of oaten meal would be more value that a stocking of gold. There would be a religious war
