  1. There is a fairy-fort in Lavallyroe. Long ago the people used to bury children that were not baptized in it. It is a nice looking place. There are bushes growing around it. There is a nice walk around it. Long ago people heard fairy horse and cars and traps running around the path. About twelve o'clock some nights a beautiful light would be seen in the middle of the fort. The people were not afraid of it because they were used to it. There is a fort in Gurteen. Unbaptized children were buried in it.
