    fearing robbers he immediately went and hid it in a field now owned by Mr Mac Donald Ballynomack close to his own house.
    When Tom was dying he told the secret mark to a man called Jack Gibbs. A short time afterwards he and friend went to look for the money. When they went to the place where Tom had directed them they found a small man sitting on the spot seeing him they ran as fast they could.
    They then went the following day and found that the mark where the money was hidden had vanished.
