"I always had enough to eat".
This dread of hunger was in the Irish people since the Famine Years especially '47 and no wonder.Witness the following Rann made by Glenmore district against Tullogher:-"White cabbage and bacon in Glenmore today,
But Tullogher must sell it, the rent for to pay"
