County Kildare. One day Finn sent to St Patrick for some certain request which the saint would not grant. Finn took up a bit of a rock and flung it at the Saint's head. It fell short however of the mark. The Saint went over to it and impressed it with the mark of his knees while offering a prayer to God. The stone is still there for anyone who wishes to see it. He said that prayer for his narrow escape from so ponderous a visitant.
