    and cart. The trace of both were found by the mouth of the kiln, but there was no trace turning from it. His mysterious dissaperence (disappearance) was the talk of the locality for months. It was said that even in his drunkness and madness, if he had driven the horse and cart into the burning kiln, that there should be some trace of the irons of the cart or the shoes of the horse, but none were found. Thoes who believed in faries considered that they took him away to their forth in fairy land.
